Is it a Fish or a Snow Storm?…#NEMO

The internet is funny.

It’s winter and we’ve been waiting for this storm since the beginning of the season. So far this year we’ve hardly had any snow. Just a few coatings. Nothing worth sledding on and we’re itching to get out to sled. School won’t closed because it’s New York City and  they’re really good at getting the roads cleared and keeping the transportation going.

We will be fine, we always are. The power never goes out so we don’t need to plan for that. I will get some supplies in for the duration, just so we don’t need to go outside.

I’m not worried that The King is in California. I know we’ll be safe.

This is what it looked like when I went out for supplies this morning.

Heres the list of things I got this morning.

beer, chocolate, hotwings, pizza, water, mac and cheese

Hey wait, this looks like a super bowl list.

Did I miss anything?

I’m cooking up  a storm…. ha no pun intended, because if we do lose power at least we’ll have food. Turkey chili and butternut squash soup.

12 hours later-8pm

The morning after…………..

Here’s how we faired. No loss of power. No damage anywhere. Now to can go play and make a snow man 🙂
