It was a news item the other day that finally a Big Pharma company, GlaxoSmithKline, has been called to task and more importantly CHARGED for defrauding patients and bribing doctors.
Of course the amount they were fined was minimal in comparison to their profits, $3b, but I believe it’s an important step towards changing the way Big Pharma and Health Insurance companies have a strangle hold on the American way of life in regards to health care.
We have a long way to go to fix the issue in this country but it’s nice to know people are working on a solution so everyone can be healthy and afford treatment when they’re not.
