Ok so we all know by now, that the Mayan’s were smoking some pretty good crack. It didn’t happen, the world is still here. But what a marketing campaign! The doomsday sellers sure did sell some stuff…… did you fall victim?
So now, here we are, we’ve passed through the End Of the World unscathed, what the hell do we do now? It feels like such an anti climax.
No doubt there will be a new End of the World prediction coming soon after the New Year…it seems we need something to aim for. Some ‘event’ to keep us in line.
I guess I really better get this Christmas thing happening….Are you ready? Shopped? Menu planned?
I have some of this organised but still pulling it together……..The Christmas Spirit is festering just under the surface.
What I am really hoping for, is that this new lease on life, this second chance, will help us all to be nicer to each other, to get some perspective on the importance of community, togetherness and peace……………..
Yep I’m drinking the coolaid but if we don’t hope for these things then what’s the point?

No I didn’t get caught up in the end of the world hoopla, but I like your take on it, this is a second chance. So since we don’t get a do-over in life, maybe we should take this as our chance to do right.
