A Walk In Central Park

Last week when the sun came out and it was warmish, I took the opportunity to get outside with the dog. He’s not had too much exercise with all this cold and we all needed to stretch and get some air in our lungs and sun on our faces. Northern Hemisphere winters suck. Yep they really do.

Walking along the roads in Central Park makes you feel invincible and a little rebellious….but don’t do it between 8-10am and 4-6pm 🙂 They’ll mow your ass down in a New York minute.

There’s a few of these around the world,  apparently the Egyptians like giving their big stone things away. This is Cleopatra’s Needle in Central Park, we recently discovered there’s also one in Boston.

How can you not love living in a city of 8 million people and yet feel like you’re in the wilderness. It’s kinda cool, with a side of delivery on every corner 😛

This looks abandoned now but let me assure you once the weather turns, you won’t get a spot here. Tennis in Central park is really good fun.
