The King went to Spain the other week. Great trip, excellent business, much Tapas and wine was consumed. Upon his return he brought with him some interesting Spanish concepts and phrases.
House Guests
Living in a different country affords you the dubious privilege of all manner of house guests. Anyone and everyone you’ve ever known wants to come to stay with you and visit the new country. Of course there are certain people who are welcome anytime, any place, best friends and family.
Everything is exercise.
Today’s tall order task was to wash the dog. The King and Miss Gremlin went for a 2 1/2 hour walk in central park yesterday. It was hot, over 100F. Poor TD was exhausted, although really enjoyed swimming in any and every water source available to him, including the boat basin! When they got home they were all covered in …
Freakin’ Laundry
It has been said by those who shall remain nameless that I have a little obsession. It is said I love to do laundry, I’m always doing laundry, Molley and her laundry. So just to clear this up I detest freakin’ laundry. That being said I do A LOT of laundry.

Natural depression fighters
This article is probably going to be a little more personal than I would have hoped but I want to share the information I’ve learned and how it’s helped me. If I can help even one person, it’s worth it. I have come to the realisation that I have suffered for many years with mild depression. I had postpartum after …
Get off the treadmill
So I guess I should share that I dislike exercise intensely. Although over the years I’ve done my share of aerobics, water aerobics, gym classes etc.I know all the statistics and I understand why the body needs it but I believe
Suns of Bitches
This article was originally entitled Sunshine On My Shoulder but The King, not being one for headlines, either conservative or John Denver in nature suggested the present. I consented, as it is all about him. A number of articles have piqued my interest about the real healing effect of the sun. I’ve always believed the sun is good for you …
